Hotel Spotlight: Arrive Palm Springs, California

ARRIVE Palm Springs is the desert escape we all need. Located on North Palm Canyon Drive close to the heart of town, Arrive is a breath of fresh air. Beautifully designed by co-founder Chris Pardo, the property pays respect to Palm Spring's mid-century modern architecture and design. Arrive was built for the neighborhood, welcoming locals and travelers alike.

Arrive makes starting your vacation easy. No fussy check-in process. You can text the hotel to let them know what time you are arriving. Check-in happens at the bar in Reservoir restaurant as you are met with a welcome cocktail.

Need anything throughout your stay? Just text the front desk.

We stayed at Arrive for the first time in August of 2016. We thought it would be a great idea to get out of San Diego to finish our website. We were smitten from the second we pulled up. The rooms are equipped with a desk for "work" but we were instantly distracted with all that Arrive has to offer. Our first stop was Reservoir for brunch and cocktails (because we are much more creative after a couple cocktails).

Since the first visit, we keep coming back.

Lounge

The focal point of Arrive Palm Springs is the pool. The perfect spot to lounge and grab a drink. The pool is equipped with plenty of floaties to reach the ultimate level of relaxation and also has a ping pong table and cozy fire pits. The pool is surrounded by cabanas that are first come first serve.

Since Arrive is all about community,  they host some pretty cool free events around the pool like Sunday pool parties and the summer Dive-in movie series. Come watch a movie, grab a drink and float in the pool.

Reservoir and Draughtsman

Reservoir in the main restaurant at Arrive and the "hotel bar".  From brunch to dinner, the food and drinks are fantastic. The restaurant has in door and outdoor space with killer views of the mountains.

Draughtsman is the newest addition to the Arrive family with a focus on local craft beer. It's also the perfect spot to watch sports. The patio also has games for patrons like cornhole and foosball.

Ice Cream & Shop[pe]

Who doesn't love ice cream? Flanking the entrance to Arrive is Ice Cream & Shop[pe]. Ice Cream & Shop[pe] is half ice cream half gift store. They are serving up a delicious revolving list of ice cream to help you beat the heat. While you enjoy your sweet treat, peruse the cutest gift shop you have ever seen.  It might be nearly impossible to leave with just ice cream.

Customs Coffee

On the opposite side of the entrance is Customs Coffee. Customs coffee serves organic coffee from the Joshua Tree Coffee Company. We highly recommend buying coffee and taking it home with you because you will quickly fall in love. And like everything at Arrive Palm Springs, the space is perfectly designed. High ceilings, gold wall paper, plush booths.

The Rooms

Last but certainty not least, the accommodations. Arrive has 32 guestroom, some equipped with patios. Each room is impeccably designed with a comfy king bed and a gorgeous rain shower. There is no detailed left untouched down to the wall paper. No joke, we stared at the wall paper for a long time looking at all the clever details and intricacies that make up the arrive "A".

And if you feel like leaving the hotel and exploring Palm Springs, the rooms are equipped with a pretty killer guide to palm springs.

Arrive also offers spa services that are available in the privacy of your own room.
