Unbeatable Hotel Pools

It's summer time and you know what that means. Long, warm days spent lounging by the pool. We're in full blown summer mode and it has us thinking about some of the epic pools we've encountered on our travels.
Since vacation is about relaxation, you need a hotel with an excellent pool. It has to have character and a wow factor that makes you never want to leave.
Here are some of our favorite hotel pools from around the world.
Ohla Hotel - Barcelona
Ohla Barcelona is amazing for so many reasons. It's in the perfect location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, their head chef received a Michelin star in both France and Spain and their rooms are gorgeous. And if all that isn't enough to have you begging to stay, their pool is next level. On the roof of the hotel, the pool deck offers sweeping views of the city. You can lounge by the pool while gazing at the Catedral de Barcelona. What more could you ask for?
Belvedere Hotel - Mykonos
There are not to many thing that would keep us in our hotel in Mykonos. There's so much to see around town; beautiful beaches, shopping, food, nightlife. The pool at the Belvedere Mykonos is one those things. Whether you are staying at the main property or one of the villas, the pool will keep you occupied. On the main property, lounge is a massive day bed with views of whitewashed Greek buildings in the distance. At the villas, the infinity pool appears as if it's spilling into the ocean.
The Pendry - San Diego,CA
The Pendy is a new addition to San Diego. The hotel opened in February of 2017 and the pool is to die for. Located on the 3rd floor, the aptly named Pool House has views of Downtown San Diego. Surrounded by cabanas adorned with pastel white and pink pillows, it's the ultimate place for relaxation in the hectic Gaslamp quarter. Pool House host daily social hour starting at 5pm and pool parties on Sunday. The Pendry Baltimore has a pretty stellar pool as well.
Nautilus - South Beach
The Nautilus South Beach is everything you would want in a Miami pool. The pool is surrounding by lush greenery on one side and luxurious cabanas on the other. The property has beach access and you have to walk past the pool to get to the beach. I imagine what happened to us is what happened to most people staying at the Nautilus. You have every intention of going to the beach but one glance at the pool and you change your mind.
Emerald Villas - Zakynthos, Greece
Emerald Villas is perched on top of a hill in Zakynthos, Greece. Once you step inside your villa, you are greeted with views of the infinity pool. From the pool, you have unobstructed, 365 degree views of the Ionian Sea. The best part about this pool, it's private! Emerald Villas upped the ante in 2017 when they opened the new Emerald Suites. Each suite is equipped with its own infinity pool as well.
